| Long description | Main Responsibilities:
• Accountable for the business planning process; including compilation of the long-term
consolidated financial plan, annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Corporate and departmental budgets, forecasts, and related management reports and analysis
• Provide support to Executive and Senior Management, including timely and relevant management
reporting, analysis of business cases, and related business modelling
• Support analysis of new strategic business opportunities including acquisitions, joint ventures and
strategic alliances and management of related legal and financial relationships
• Prepare routine and ad hoc reporting for Senior Management and the Board of Directors
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• CA/CMA with at least 5-7 years post qualification experience in a management role; MBA is an
asset
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance or recognized equivalent
• Strong leadership ability with the commitment to inspire a work force to exceed goals and
expectations in a financial management role
• Demonstrated transactional experience supporting business growth opportunities at a senior level,
such as new businesses, mergers, acquisitions, alliances, etc., including an understanding of
related contracts
• Experience with strategic cost management such as Activity Based Costing
• Experience in an ERP environment
• Superb analytical thinking skills and strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills
